However, if you happen to earn more than £50000 a year - a relatively modest sum of money these days - then you are in for a shock!
People who earn £50000 a year or more represent 14% of the UK workforce. Shockingly, though, they contributed over 60% of all Income Tax to the Treasury last year!
Looks like some people are more in it than others!
