Phil has over 30 years’ experience running his own business. Having started the firm from his spare bedroom, he has experienced first-hand the challenges that start-ups and growing businesses face on the journey to success.

This personal insight is why Phil is so passionate about guiding clients through the complexities of Making Tax Digital (MTD), ensuring their businesses remain compliant and resilient in a digital-first tax system.

As a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA), Phil combines decades of technical expertise with a practical, "no-nonsense" approach to business growth. Whether you are navigating the new MTD for Income Tax thresholds or restructuring for efficiency, Phil’s goal is to ensure the tax system works for your business, not against it.

An accomplished rally driver with a life-long interest in motor sport, Phil also finds time to play golf at the beautiful Northants County GC and has run the London Marathon twice, raising over £7,000 for local charities!

Sarah joined Harris and Co. over 29 years ago as an AAT. She then went on to advance her career by studying her Chartered Accountancy exams and qualified in 2003.

Her role at Harris & Co. has progressed over those 29 years and she is now a director and co-owner.

In her spare time she enjoys going to music concerts, eating out with friends and going to the cinema. She also takes a keen interest in home improvement.

Leading both the Bookkeeping and Payroll teams. With over 35 years of experience in accountancy, Clare is ACCA qualified.

Outside of work, Clare enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking her dogs, and attending exercise classes.

Payroll Manager with a IPPM qualification in payroll.

I have worked for Harris and Co since October 2001. IPD qualified & during this time I have looked after all payroll clients, from Director only, medium sized clients and Large clients with 350 plus employees.

During this time I have looked after all payroll clients, dealing with weekly and monthly payrolls, providing day to day running, including starters, leavers, maternity pay, sick pay, bacs payments , Cis deductions, auto enrolment, together with end of year P60’s and P11ds. Using a variety of Packages Sage, Iris, Moneysoft, Xero, and Paycircle.

I have extensive experience in payroll, I’m known for my friendliness and enthusiasm about my work.

I enjoy spending time with my 3 Grandchildren, and socialising with friends at weekends.

I have over four years of experience in accounting and taxation, supporting a broad range of clients with their financial and tax matters. I am currently part ACCA qualified and working towards full qualification, with a strong commitment to professional growth and development within the industry.

I enjoy working closely with clients, understanding their businesses, and ensuring they are as tax efficient as possible while providing ongoing support with their financial and tax affairs through a professional and approachable service.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through sports and fitness activities, which helps me maintain a positive and motivated mindset.

Kira joined Harris & Co in 2020 and has over 10 years of experience working in practice. She particularly enjoys working with motorsport clients and undertaking audit work, where she values building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality service. Outside of the office, Kira enjoys spending time with her son, following Formula 1, and travelling to new places.

I’m a relatively new member of the team at Harris & Co, having previously worked as a Client Manager within a family-run practice. Over the past 11 years, I’ve worked alongside businesses of various sizes across industries including Film & TV, Management Consultancy, and IT Consultancy, providing accountancy services as well as financial and tax planning support.

What I enjoy most about working in this industry is building strong relationships with clients, understanding their goals, and helping them achieve them.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me supporting my village cricket team during the summer and cheering on my favourite football team throughout the winter.

My name is Jeanette Kemp and I have a bookkeeping role here at Harris & Co.

I joined this great team in August 2025, after having moved up from sunny Essex just a couple of months prior.

I previously worked for Robert Fleming & Co in the Investment Banking sector in London for 16 years, until I left the City life in 2001.

Thereafter, I retrained as a bookkeeper and worked with some wonderful teams in a couple of Accountancy practices, before moving into an Administration role for a prestigious Care Home where I was a PA, as well as looking after all of our staffing needs including DBS checks and immigration, general compliance tasks and having the privilege of meeting and spending time with the most incredible residents. My other job roles have included working in the Security Sector in the evenings and weekends around my Full Time employment. I am happy when I am looking after everyone and keeping people safe.

My philosophy is ‘Work hard, enjoy life and treat every day as if it is a celebration’.

Christina is a bookkeeper @ Harris and co with over 20 years of construction Industry and 10 years of working for accounting practices. Specialising in CIS tax. Christina once ran a beach bar & restaurant in sunny Cyrpus and enjoys going to see live music.

I am passionate about what I do. I am ACCA qualified. I take pride in supporting clients with their day-to-day accounting needs. I enjoy building strong working relationships and helping to resolve challenges efficiently and effectively. I am highly committed to my role and always strive to provide the best possible service. Outside of work, I am a proud mother of two girls and love spending quality time with them.

Georgiana is an accounts assistant at Harris & Co with 9+ years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll. Passionate about her job and proud of the accumulated knowledge in Harris&Co. She is happy to share and deliver a great service to the clients. In her free time, she enjoys walks in the great outdoors and visiting UK’s wonderful rural landscape.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing cricket and badminton, as well as watching sports.
