Brexit Britain must reject Biden's plans for a global corporation tax Henry Hill says in the Telegraph that Boris Johnson should resist the push for a common global corporation tax rate arguing that having taxes baked into an international treaty marks a loss of sovereignty. Why would Britain do this after working so hard to leave the EU, Hill asks, only to cede control over a key economic lever to an even more remote body – the OECD. “Voters were sold a vision of ‘global Britain’, not the 51st state. Johnson and [Rishi] Sunak should reject this act of American economic overreach.”
