Sunak plots pensions tax relief cut The Times reports that Rishi Sunak is considering plans to cut pensions tax relief for higher earners in a bid to boost Britain's coronavirus-hit finances. The paper says the Chancellor has been mulling an array of options for raising taxes as he looks to balance the books but his options are limited by the Prime Minister’s insistence that income tax, VAT and national insurance must not increase.
