New HMRC numbers

New and cheaper ‘0300’ telephone numbers are being introduced by HMRC for their VAT, National Insurance, Income Tax and the Self Assessment textphone helplines on 12, 13 and 14 June 2013 report Harris & Co chartered accountants as part of their accountancy services to new start up businesses.
For most people the new numbers will reduce the cost of calling these helplines.
The new numbers are available from HMRC.
