ONS clueless about actual state of the economy

Chartered Accountants Northampton Harris & Co report the ONS have been forced again to up their previously too gloomy assessment of the economy - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-21598509.
If I produced numbers like they did, I"d soon go out of business! They have no real idea on how the economy is doing!
