Council Tax shocker!!!

Northampton Borough Council have announced that, from 1 April 2013:
- Newly built properties will be charged 100% Council Tax even if unoccupied (this will impact hugley on new housing development - you"ll probably have to buy off plan as the builders won"t want to build houses on spec!)
- Any unoccupied property will still be charged 100% Council Tax
- Any property unoccupied after two years will get charged 150% Council Tax (this will hit second homes very hard)
