Useless paperwork to be slashed

Two million self employed people could be exempted from filling in useless health and safety paperwork say Harris & Co accountants Northampton, the specialist small business accountants.

Ministers are proposing to announce plans the slash red tape for most self employed people by scrapping a lot of health and safety risk assessments. Only those with "high-risk" professions will have to do the tiresome risk assessments. The move is expected to save businesses hundreds of thousands of pounds a year.
