 SME bill a priority

David Cameron plans to introduce a Bill for small business and enterprise deregulation within the first 100 days of a Conservative government. The move is designed to cut red tape by a further £10bn over the course of the Parliament. Meanwhile, the second Future of Growth summit from campaigns firm Seven Hills is set to highlight that politicians need to support growing firms and not focus only on fashionable start-ups. A report by investor and entrepreneur Sherry Coutu has identified "scaleups" - firms with more than ten staff and annual growth of 20% or more - as key to growth say Harris & Co chartered accountants Northampton, the specialist small business accountants.
