 SMEs says important issues not being addressed by politicians 

Small businesses are disappointed with how important issues have been handled in the run to the general election, recent research suggests. Two-thirds of business owners said politicians had not properly addressed the issues that face small businesses, a survey of more than 1,000 companies found report Harris & Co chartered accountants Northampton, the specialist small business accountants. Almost eight out of 10 did not trust politicians would follow through on the promises they made during the election campaign and nearly 63% said the quality of political debating had decreased in recent years. The research also found more than half (51%) said tax simplification was their top priority, closely followed by the economy (49%) and lowering the costs of doing business (45%).
