Personal guarantees past their sell by date

A study by start-up SME loan provider Wirefund has found that 55% of small business owners do not understand the personal guarantees that they sign when taking out loans from high street banks. Despite this 79% said they are not put off by personal guarantees when taking out a loan. Wirefund"s report also found only 8% of business owners realise how inescapable personal guarantees are, leading him to conclude they “have passed their use-by date.”
