IFS slams UK"s tax regime for being full of ‘inconsistencies"

The current tax system is ‘inconsistent and incoherent’, with anomalies such as a marginal income tax rate of 60% for some individuals and other unintended consequences as a result of successive government’s failure to deliver a clear strategy, according to the think-tank the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) report Harris & Co accountants Northampton
