 SME numbers soar in service sectors

A report by Hampshire Trust Bank and CEBR reveals the number of SMEs has grown in total by 23% in the last five years with businesses in the office admin and business support sector topping the list - growing by 75% in the period. The number of SMEs has grown in total by 23% from 2011-2016, with human health services, followed by motion picture, video, TV, sound recording and music publishing the second and third biggest growth sectors respectively, having both experienced a 50% rise.
