Tax lock pledge in Queen’s Speech
David Cameron will today confirm his plans to cut taxes for 30m people, as he unveils a "Queen"s Speech for working people". The legislative programme will include the Conservatives’ five-year tax lock to ensure there will be no income tax, VAT or National Insurance rises in this Parliament. It will also include a Bill to ensure that the personal income tax allowance, which is currently £10,600, will rise in line with the annual percentage increase in the national minimum wage rather than inflation say Harris & Co chartered accountants Northampton
