Oddest reasons for not filing a tax retur

In the run up to the 31 January Self Assessment filing deadline HMRC have today revealed the ‘top 10 oddest excuses’ for sending in a late return. The number one In the list of unsuccessful excuses is the death of a taxpayer’s goldfish say Harris & Co accountants Northampton
