 Many SMEs rely on "gig" workers


The latest Zurich SME Risk Index reveal that 26% of SMEs in the UK have employed at least one gig economy worker, with one or more short term contracts or doing freelance work, in the last 12 months. More than two thirds (70%) of those agreed that gig economy workers are important to their company’s profitability.
