 Half of SMEs owed payments

Research by Zurich reveals more than half of SMEs are chasing late payments, with firms owed up to £255bn in total. One in five is owed more than £25,000, nearly one in ten is owed £100,000, while an estimated 43,000 firms are trying to get back more than £1m each. Two in five firms say the issue is causing them a cash-flow headache that could prove damaging.
