Business optimism rises

 Business optimism rises

A survey by Lloyds Bank indicates business optimism has risen to a new high. The bank found that overall corporate confidence jumped 13 points in October. A net balance of 37% of UK firms expect business prospects to improve - the strongest figure since the EU referendum in June - while 47% are upbeat about the economy.
