 Q1 growth revised up


The UK's economic growth has been revised up for the first quarter of the year, from 0.1% to 0.2%.

The ONS was thus 100% out in its estimate of how the economy was doing.

These are the same people who predicted that the immediate aftermath of the Brexit vote would be 500,000 unemployed people and a 13% crash in house prices. Of course neither happened - in fact unemployment is at a 40 year low!

And the ONS keeps pumping out dire forecasts of how terrible the economy will be post Brexit........
