Harris & Co have a long association with the motor sport industry. Phil Harris inherited an interest in all things connected with cars from his father Les, an engineer who used to go rallying at the highest level both nationally and internationally in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. Phil coaxed his father out of retirement in 1981 to start his rally career and graduated to driving in the Lombard RAC Rally in 1986 and 1987. Phil is still the proud owner of a rallying Mini which was fifty years old in July 2013. It is currently being prepared by historic rallying specialists Rob Smith Rallying with a view to having a crack at a few historic rallies in the future!
